Breakthrough

The 2011 opening video for the Byrnes High School Rebel Regiment year in review production.  The 2011 theme was Breakthrough (hence the symbols in the video depicting "breakthroughs."  Much thanks to all the students, band staff, parents, and volunteers for making the 2011 marching season a success.

Life on Earth

Life on Earth, a portion of the highlight reel for Unidiversity 2011 (www.unidiversity.org), was shot by Milledge Austin and Cliff Williams.  Cliff Williams of Argyle Multimedia edited this piece on site at Unidiversity.  The footage was shot (some with time laspe recording) at Jones Gap State Park, SC, the Pisgah National Forest in NC, on top of Pisgah Mountain itself, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and at a rest area just off I-26 on the NC/TN state line.  The falls are Looking Glass Falls, off of highway 276 going toward Pisgah Mountain.

Inner World

Inner World is the title of the track used in this video clip.  This video clip is a small part of the final highlight video at Unidiversity 2010 (www.unidiversity.org).  The theme of Unidiversity 2010 was "H20" and although the images in this video may not make sense (unless you attended the conference), perhaps it may help to think about cleansing, washing away, or working for peace.  The video was shot by Milledge Austin and Cliff Williams.  Editing was done on site at the conference by Cliff Williams.

James F. Byrnes Rebel Regiment 2010 Promo

Just completed a "kind of" promo for the Byrnes Rebel Regiment.  Experimented a bit in After Efffects along with some third party plugins.  The Byrnes Rebel Regiment has a long season with practices beginning in spring and performances from fall to Christmas.  I learned that the Rebel Regiment works just as hard, if not harder, than most athletic teams.   The competition among bands throughout the state is quite intense to say the least.  The standards that each member must achieve is incredibly high. I now have the utmost respect for each student and the team of directors, teachers, and parent volunteers that make the Rebel Regiment the success it is.  Believe me, this is a huge effort and sacrifice by all involved.
